April 2024: Selected by the Newburgh Free Library in Newburgh, NY, I had the honor to create a large mural inside their brand new Town Branch location. This painting was created to symbolize the joy of reading and be representative of the vast diversity in the community for all to embrace and be represented. The mural features a quote by abolitionist Frederick Douglass, “Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.”
